INWTC will postpone practices until the state of Washington lifts the stay in place order and allows for youth athletics to continue. We will abide by advice from Gonzaga Prep and the local health advisory departments. When we get back into the room INWTC will change times, dates, and gathering sizes in order to provide a save environment for practice. Depending on the use of our current facility, there is a possibility that we will move practice to a different location if the school grounds continue to be closed to the public in the coming weeks/months. We will look at USA Wrestling’s mandates for moving forward, but as soon as INWTC can safely put kids on the mat, we will.
Please give our staff the time to plan and execute decisions moving forward, and we will get back to all voicemails and emails as best we can.
INWTC will continue to monitor responses from the state, county, and school as we navigate COVID-19 issues. As you all know, wrestling rooms are disinfected daily, and we battle far more infections and diseases than the general population. That being said, this is an important reminder to wash your hands before practice, and shower immediately after practice to continue to fight bacteria and other illness.
INWTC's St. Sebastian Wrestling Center, located on the west end of the Ganzaga Preparatory School 1224 E. Euclid Ave. Spokane, WA 99207.
INWTC is the newest USA Wrestling Olympic Regional Training Center. As an approved Olympic training site, INWTC is an extension of USA Wrestling and will help train those seeking to compete at the highest levels of competition. We have secured the bid for the Cadet National Dual Tournamnet, and will be the host site for both Washington and Idaho State level training camps.
